Learn from the pros!

USPTA Master Professional Lorenzo Beltrame demonstrating a drill in which the player works on shot selection and placement based on the type of ball he receives. The drill involves a combination of deep shots and short angles and finishes with a dropshot. If the player receives a deep ball he will also return a deep shot, preferably to the opponent’s backhand. If the player receives a shorter ball, he will try to open up the court with short angles followed by a dropshot. By varying the speed of the feeds and using the concept of scalability, this drill can be adapted to all skill levels.
